Know Greater Hope -- Kay is a chestnut filly foaled April 13, 2008.  Her sire is the Hannovarian/Tb stallion Greater Than Gold. This is a wonderful stallion with great movement, jumping style, and conformation.  He can be seen on the "Horses" page.  Kay's dam is a stunning Tb mare, First Hope, owned by Hunter's Run Farms.  This filly should mature into a flashy show horse for a seriuos competitor.  I have started some ground work with Kay and she is more than I had hoped.  She is a beautiful mover with a great expression. Kay is now lunging and will be started under saddle this spring. She will be a smaller horse, but should have plenty of stride and will be suitable as a prospect for a lady or child rider.

Shine On -- Harley is a bay gelding foaled April 28, 2007 sired by Shine.  Shine can be seen on the "Horses" page.  This stallion has it all, movement, jumping style, and an attitude to die for and he tends to pass it on.  Harley's dam,  the Tb mare Alone, has produced three other superb foals that have gone on to become very nice show horses.  Her 2000 foal, March Madness, is pictured in the banner above.  Harley has a great disposition, has competed successfully in the Hunter Breeding division, and should develop into an ideal amatuer horse.  Harley is now under saddle and jumping with a brilliant style. He is quiet, straightforward, and easy. His movement and expression are so like his sire. This one will be a winner for sure! - SOLD!! - Congratulations to Britt and Rachel McCormick of Elmstead Farm.

Sashay -- Sashay is a dark bay mare foaled in 2003 by the renowned stallion Aristos B.  She is approximately 16.3 h.  This mare is starting in the first year green hunters in 2010.  Sashay is a beautiful mare with scope and step to spare.  The jumps are easy for her and she will jump anything with her stunning form and beautiful expression.  This mare has very limited mileage in the ring, but I expect her to be quite a winner.  Sashay is a product of the International Hunter Futurity program and won one of the over fences classes at the finals as a 4 year old.  I think this mare has every quality to make a top hunter derby horse and I am so excited to point her in that direction. Sashay has made her mark in the Derbies and is ready for the second year greens in 2011. She is also a willing competitor in the limit hunters :)

Just Right -- JR is a chestnut appendix gelding foaled in 1998.  Jr is 16 h and has a permanent large junior hunter card.  JR has been champion numerous times at 'AA' shows in the large juniors and is also wonderful in the equitation ring.  He is a solid competitor that can take a child from the limit ring all the way through to the juniors.  This sweet horse is quite a pet and a child can truly bond with him as a companion as well as an athlete. JR has finished the 2010 show year as the year end Champion in the Children's Hunters for the THJA and year end Reserve Champion in Zone 7.

Repertoire -- Rhett is a dark brown TB gelding foaled in 1995. At 16.2 h, Rhett is suited nicely for the taller or longer legged rider, but his narrower body handles a smaller rider as well. This horse is a dream. He is simply unflappable at the jumps and has a long slow stride and an automatic lead change. He will do the equitation, hunters and 3' derbies without blinking an eye. He finished 2010 as the THJA Reserve Champion in the Children's hunters. Rhett has never been injected and shows on no meds at all. This horse has many years left in the show ring and will bring confidence and poise to any level of rider. He is for sale only because his owner is off to college soon and we will miss him.

Obora's Keiko & Obora's Groks -- Hunter's Run Farms is proud to announce our affiliation with Obora International in Europe. Together we are importing quality hunters and jumpers from various areas across Europe. These horses are fully x-rayed, vetted, and imported... saving the buyer the cost, worry, and hassle of traveling to Europe. All horses will be lifetime recorded with USEF and have been hand picked by our team. They are brought to a new facility and then ridden and evaluated by our American rider. We then, as a team, decide if the horse is suitable for our clients here in the US. Having sold the first horse (which is still in my barn because I love it) and shown the other two, I know we are on the right track. Both Keiko and Groks were foaled in 2006. They are quiet and easy and brave at the jumps. Keiko (17 h mare) is a fantastic mover with a huge slow step and stunning jump. She is hard to impress with the jumps and will shine as she moves up through the ranks. A potential derby horse for sure with the brain for a junior or amatuer. Groks (16.2 h gelding) is a cutie with the look of a big pony. He is a nice mover with a great jump, and plenty of step. He has the scope to do the jumpers as well as the big hunters, and the brain for a junior rider. He jumps around regularly with different riders of various ages and levels. Both of these yougsters have shown a few times, very successfully, in the baby greens. They are both very bored and are waiting to come out in 2011 in the pre-green hunters. As coming 5 year olds, they are ready to go and win for you. Please see information, videos and pictures of these horses as well as horses still in Europe at                   www.obora-international.com.

Babies --  My clients and I do quite a bit of breeding and frequently have foals, weanlings, and yearlings available for sale.  Several young horses (foaled 2009 & 2010) by Shine can be seen at www.oldeoaksfarm.com.  We also have foals expected in 2011 and breedings planned.  These faols are out of wonderful mares and by Shine and other top stallions.  Please contact us for your future winners :)

Rise N Shine -- Razz is a chestnut mare foaled in 2002.  She is approximately 15.3 1/2 h.  She is a full sister to Shine On.  Her sire is Shine and her dam is Alone.  This mare is quiet, never needs a lunge, and has a beautiful jump.  She has been shown successfully in the pre-green hunters with limited mileage. This smaller mare has plenty of step and should turn into a great ladies horse or small junior humter.  SOLD!!

Dancing Dreamer --  Dreamy is 1999 gray mare. She stands about 16 h.  Dreamy has shown through the 3'3" pre-green hunters and has also competed in the limit and children's hunter divisions.  She is extremely quiet, no lunge, and comes out the same every day.  This mare has never had any lameness problems, but does have some manageable issues.  Dreamy has plenty of step and scope and would make a nice local level show horse for most any rider.
